Gregory Foster was born in Dallas, Texas. He attended the United World College before graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2000 with a BS in Political Science. He graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2003 with the degree of Juris Doctor. During law school, Greg spent a summer abroad studying international law as part of Penn State's Capitals of Europe program, studying under the Honorable William H. Rehnquist, Chief Justice of the United States, and the Honorable Richard J. Goldstone, Justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa and Chief Prosecutor of the United Nations International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and for Rwanda. Greg also clerked full time with Joseph & Marees, PA, during his second and third years of law school.

Greg was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003 and was also admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2005. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Jacksonville Bar Association.
